The Oak Park Pleasant Home was designed in 1897 by George W. Maher and it is nearing its 115th year anniversary! It’s a beautiful building and the grounds are a lovely place to read/hangout.  The home is now a museum open to the public, check out the Pleasant Home website to see photographs of the inside of this stunning 30 room mansion.  Lou loves walking around the grounds and admiring the beautiful gardens and the changing colors of the autumn leaves.  We thought we would share some pictures of our adventure with you!  If you live around the Oak Park, IL. area or are visiting, take some time to experience this historic landmark.
